What the HECK is VECTOR?™ You ask? The visual difference is clear!
We only use vector based software [and our creative talent] to create all of our logo designs for our clients. You need to have your logo in a vector format to get high resolution printing. You can enlarge this file to make your signs, auto wrap graphics and yes, even a huge billboard if you need it. Your new logo can be enlarged without losing any clarity or sharpness. Clean and crisp edges. Great looking when printed on paper. No ugly logos.
The vector files we provide you are in essence, made up using mathematical information: drawn lines and curves equations so it can be enlarged to any size vs. pixelation bitmap image files that are made up of pixels, little tiny dots or squares of color information to make up an image, like the logo pixelation above on the right side. When looked at closely or even zoomed up, you can see the pixelation. You have seen them in print, it's not pretty or very professional looking. You can't enlarge a bitmap image or make it look any better unless we recreate it in vector. This is the main reason vector graphics are required for printing.
We also can recreate a logo that was not created in vector based software - although we do get new clients, we still feel bad that they did not get the right vector created logo files in the first place.
